Part of the ASDEU project consists of mapping autism-specific legislation and policies currently in place throughout Europe. Research into this aspect of national and regional approaches to autism has been supported by an online survey where autism organisations, persons with autism, their families, carers or any other professionals and stakeholders were able to provide feedback on the situation in the country/region where they live.
A survey to support the findings from the previous literature review on ASD policies was available online from 16/10/2015 until 31/10/2016. It was made available in 15 languages and responded to by over 900 people from every EU Member State.
The survey results analysis will be finalised and presented alongside the literature review and stakeholders consultation in ASDEU Final Report (expected to be available in February 2018).
