Spanish Foundation for International Cooperation, Health and Social Policy (FCSAI), Spain

The Spanish Foundation for International Cooperation, Health and Social Policy (CSAI) is a Spanish State Foundation, founded in 2000, by the Spanish Government. The Foundation’s main goal is the strengthening of the Health System on an international level.

The Foundation CSAI is the only Institution of the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality capable of implementing abroad the portfolio services of the Spanish National Health System. From the day one this implementation is carried out through the Foundation’s wide human resources and highly qualified and experienced professionals. Furthermore, the activities of the field teams are led by the Expert from the Spanish National Health System. The Foundation has experience and means to thoroughly and successfully implement, monitor and evaluate the received grants.

In carrying out its daily work, the Foundation can count on technical and human resources of the Ministry of Health, Health Institution Carlos III, as well as on the whole hospital and health centers network.

The Foundation has vast international experience, enabling it to develop its labor in cooperation with many Multilateral, Bilateral and State Institutions like World Health Organization, Pan-American Health Organization, European Commission and different Health Ministries, just to name a few of them.
